FAQ
Why FIT?
“FIT is a feeling.” It’s something we hear our members say over and over again.
Most workouts focus on physical outcomes. We believe fitness can be so much more than that – a powerful tool to unlock and develop all parts of the self.
We strive for you to finish our classes engaged instead of flat. Hopeful instead of hopeless, inspired instead of stuck. Free, autonomous, driven.
We have expert coaches who give a damn, and epic workouts that’ll make you say, “damn.”
Walk in, lean in, and watch everything change.

How do I book my first class?
Create an account with us here.
Check out with our INTRO OFFER on our BUY page. (Currently we offer your first two weeks for just $49!)
Book your class via our online SCHEDULE or, even better, on our app (iPhone | Android).
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class start to get settled and to allow the trainer to connect with you prior to class. Please let her know about any injuries, pregnancies or other exercise contraindications. Our boxing classes offer a brief pre-class to review the punches, so be sure to get into the studio room with time to spare!
What is your booking and cancellation process?
Class bookings open on a rolling 7-day basis at noon. So, for example, Tuesdays classes next week open this Tuesday at 12pm.
Our cancellation policy is 12 hours prior to class start. Cancelling within the 12-hour window or no-showing will incur a fee and/or loss of credit. (We are extremely understanding of last-minute emergencies, so please text us at 785-205-1110 ASAP so we can waive the penalty.)
How should I arrive to my first class?
Wear clothes that are comfortable to move in. We discourage wearing skirts and sweatshirts, as these can create safety issues when swinging kettlebells, observing form and can pose a risk of overheating.
You may wear sneakers or train barefoot.

Any classes you recommend starting with?
Our Monday STRENGTH FLOW classes and our Thursday MOVEMENT classes are great options. The pace is slow and they’ll help you nail body awareness and movement fundamentals.
We also run our intro SKILL + SWEAT class every few months – it provides a terrific base. If you see it, BOOK IT.
What should I expect during a class?
Every class is different! Check out our different class modalities here.
All classes (except BAGS) have the workout projected on the wall above the mirror. After a 3-5 minute group warm up, the trainer will demonstrate just the first or all the exercises for the following block. After her demonstration, she’ll start the clock and work the room as members begin moving, offering corrective feedback over the mic and 1-on-1. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays feature a finisher block at the end of the workout, which is generally a high intensity metabolic conditioning effort to leave you, well, finished.
Classes generally shift from more strength-focused to more conditioning-focused as we move through the week. Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays focus on cardio & boxing, less resistance training, and some lower intensity isolation work.
TL;DR – Expect to be challenged and supported. Expect to flex. Expect to sweat.
What should I do if a class is full?
Add yourself to the waitlist!
The waitlists move. Don’t be deterred, even if you’re far down on it.
(By the same token, be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist if you know you won’t be able to make the class to ensure you don’t incur a penalty!)
How long till I “get” it?
We recommend taking 3 – 4 classes per week during your 2 week trial. Most people have a feel for the studio by the end of this period. Aim to hit all or most of the formats to get a sense of your options.
The 4-week mark is where things really click and you begin to hit your stride.
Six weeks in, all bets are off – you’re a fighter now.
But I’m intimidated!
No one is watching you (except the trainer). It’s dark in the room. No ego, all growth.
Modifications will always be offered. Take them.
Be patient.
All skills require time, but DAMN are they worth the squeeze. Learn with us. Grow with us. Enjoy the ride.
We can’t wait to move with you.
Anything else I should know?
No phones in the studio room. Byeeeee
